Meet Jose Zubillaga
Born and raised in Venezuela, José Zubillaga developed a passion for problem-solving and innovation early in life, which led him to pursue a degree in engineering at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, graduating in 2005. In 2006, he moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, to continue his academic journey, earning a master's in engineering at North Carolina State University. His career in engineering allowed him to work on complex, high-impact projects, but his drive for continuous growth and global experience led him to Spain in 2012 to pursue an MBA at IE Business School. This transformative experience broadened his perspective and ultimately inspired him to pivot into finance and entrepreneurship, a move that brought him to Miami.
Since joining the Nicklaus Children's Hospital Young Ambassadors in 2016, José has been dedicated to supporting the hospital's mission. This commitment is deeply personal, stemming from an unforgettable experience at the hospital's emergency room when his one-month-old daughter needed urgent care. The professionalism and compassion shown by the hospital's staff left an indelible mark, inspiring José to contribute to this remarkable institution.
As Co-Chair of the Leadership Committee for 2025, José is passionate about fostering a culture of philanthropy and ensuring the hospital remains a beacon of hope for children and families in Miami and beyond.
Your donation today will support Nicklaus Children's Young Ambassadors efforts to raise funds that benefit patients and families.
