Who We Are
Nicklaus Children's Young Ambassadors (NCYA) is a vital partner of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, creating awareness and raising significant funds in support of our patients and families by:
- Working collaboratively with the Hospital and Foundation to identify areas of greatest needs.
- Contributing resources to programs and services that directly impact the care and comfort of those we serve.
Why We Serve
Our members share why they became members of NCYA.
How We Are Making A Difference
With more than $1 million raised-to-date, NCYA plays a valuable role in improving the lives of children from South Florida and beyond.
In 2019, NCYA raised more than $270,000 benefiting various programs at Nicklaus Children's. The group’s largest fundraiser of the year, Fashion Gives Back
, raised funds to support rehabilitation equipment and training for patients in need. The group of passionate advocates is also supporting ophthalmology services and outreach, the VACC Camp and Camp Roaring Sun, the Go Green Initiative, housing for patient families and bereavement support through Nico’s Promise
