Born and raised in Miami, Sana Imam’s passion for healthcare and community service has been a lifelong calling. An only child from a close-knit family of Indian descent, she grew up surrounded by extended family and developed a deep sense of responsibility to give back to the city that raised her. From her early days at Kendall Elementary School and Palmer Trinity School, Sana knew she wanted to dedicate her life to improving the health and well-being of others.
Sana is a social impact entrepreneur and founder of a healthcare consulting firm that partners with health systems, public-sector organizations, and start-ups to advance healthcare transformation, operational strategy, and performance improvement, while expanding equitable access to care. Prior to founding her firm, she worked at Accenture, Guidehouse, and Capgemini, where she advised health systems, government agencies in implementing transformation initiatives aimed at improving performance, access, and outcomes. Her work is dedicated to eliminating economic and health disparities and improving access to healthcare and education for all, both domestically and abroad. In addition to her consulting work, Sana serves as a healthcare policy advisor to local and state governments. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Economics from Georgetown University and a Master of Public Health from Drexel University.
Healthcare is not just Sana’s profession — it is her passion. She believes healthcare is a fundamental human right and that people of all ages and backgrounds deserve dignified, accessible care. Her work frequently intersects with policy, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and technology, and she is especially drawn to initiatives that combine professional rigor with meaningful social impact.
After moving back to Miami in 2023, Sana joined the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Young Ambassadors in 2024 and quickly became deeply engaged in advancing the organization’s mission. She served as Secretary of the NCYA Leadership Committee in 2025, and is excited to serve as Co-Chair of the NCYA Leadership Committee. In this role, Sana is committed to expanding NCYA’s reach across the community and inspiring the next generation of leaders and philanthropists to champion the hospital’s lifesaving work and lasting impact.
In addition to her work with NCYA, Sana serves on the Board of Directors for the South Florida Arthritis Foundation and is an active participant in multiple chapters of the National Association of Health Service Executives, where she has held several leadership roles and currently serves as Parliamentarian for the Florida Chapter. She previously served on boards supporting youth and community development in Pennsylvania, Alabama, and Colorado.
Sana lives in Edgewater with her Siberian husky, Cleo. In her free time, she enjoys teaching Bollywood hip hop dance classes, exploring innovation at the intersection of healthcare and technology, and giving back to the Miami community she proudly calls home.
