Join Our Cause

As a prominent member of the community, your voice must be heard. NCYA enables leaders aged 22 to 45 to network and effect positive change for the benefit of children. Members will have access to special events, including the season kick-off, networkers, and other hospital volunteer opportunities. By joining today, you will have the chance to meet with key Hospital and Foundation personnel and determine how your donations can best be used to benefit the children of our community and beyond.

The general membership is divided into committees, each with a distinct area of focus. Members are responsible for advocating and fundraising within their respective spheres of influence.

  • Individual Membership 
    - Total of $3,000 minimum pledge payable over three years 
    - $100 monthly, $250 quarterly or $1,000 yearly 

  • Membership Benefits  
    - Invitation to NCYA quarterly events and networking opportunities
    - Invitation to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation events
    - Recognition in appropriate media
    - Dedicated Foundation staff liaison to respond to any needs or opportunities
    - Tax deductions (according to IRS rules and regulations)
    - Opportunity to attend the Shark Tank event in December for funds distribution
    - Eligibility to serve on the NCYA Executive Leadership Committee after one year
    - Opportunity to join subcommittees within NCYA (Fashion Gives Back, Events, and Social Media)
    - Opportunity to volunteer at NCYA-sponsored Patient Activities at the Hospital
    - Opportunity to renew membership after 3-year commitment

What to expect

  • Highly encouraged to attend (1) signature event (Fashion Gives Back)
  • Highly encouraged to serve 1 year on a committee
  • Invited to Shark Tank, but do not have voting ability

  • Greater opportunity for impact and leadership
  • Must apply and meet criteria; voted on Foundation and by existing committee
  • Max of 15 members
  • Help shape priorities through monthly committee participation
  • Allowed to attend Shark Tank; has voting rights on funding initiatives
  • Must attend (1) signature event (Fashion Gives Back) and (2) NCYA special events (fundraisers/friend raisers)
  • Champion support through $3,000 in fundraising and outreach
  • Build meaningful connection by attending at least 1 patient activity event per calendar year
