What is the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Carlin Family Prom?
The Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Carlin Family Prom is a magical evening for your teen to celebrate with other teens. This event is free of charge and will be an unforgettable experience.
Who goes to Prom?
Carlin Prom is an invite-only event for teen patients of Nicklaus Children's Hospital who qualify.
What should my teen wear?
We will help your teen find just the right outfit. This experience is limited to the teen patient who is invited. The prom outfit for your teen is at no cost to you.
Can my teen bring a date?
Yes, the invitation is for your teen and one guest. Guest should be around your teen's age and can be a friend, boyfriend or girlfriend, or family member.
What about parents?
We will host a free reception for parents or guardians during prom. It will include dinner, music, and a live-stream video of the prom. Space is limited, so we can only accommodate two family members per prom teen patient at this event.
What will my teen do at Prom?
Teens will have a blast with their guest and friends. They will enjoy a night of dancing, dinner, dessert, photo booth, and many fun surprises.
How do teens get ready for Prom?
Your teen can get ready with us on the day of the prom. All hair or make-up appointments should be made when registering for the event. Appointments are limited to teen patients.
