At a very young age, Annabella was diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome, a condition that affects the kidneys. One day, she went into septic shock and her parents brought her to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. It seemed like everything was going bad, and Annabella’s dad couldn’t help but feel scared about what would happen to his little girl. Thanks to the treatment she received at the hospital, Annabella recovered. The relief her dad felt was unlike anything he ever experienced, which moved him to walk into Miami Children’s Health Foundation and make a donation to help kids going through what Annabella went through.
