In July 2018, the Nicklaus Children’s Young Ambassadors (NCYA) left a permanent mark at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital by dedicating the first communication station in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The opportunity was presented to the group due to the impact the young professionals have made on the children and families served at the hospital.

Since the group was established in 2011, it has raised more than $1.3 million to fund projects benefiting the Fetal Care Center, Camp Roaring Sun for children with diabetes, Radio Lollipop and the Gait Analysis Lab at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation is extremely proud of all of NCYA’s accomplishments, and hope they continue to support the children and families in their community for years to come.
