Nicklaus Children's Joins New Miami Impact Index Crypto Fund

Nicklaus Children's is among a select group of Miami-based nonprofits that are beneficiaries of the new Miami Impact Index Fund. A first-of-its-kind in crypto, this index fund makes it easy to give back to Miami-area nonprofits on The Giving Block's platform with one single donation. Nicklaus Children's Hospital Patients Dance Among the Stars as Carlin Family Pledges Five More Years of Prom Magic

Nicklaus Children's Hospital celebrated the 11th Annual Carlin Family Prom, bringing patients and their families together for an Out of This World-themed evening of joy, connection and milestone memories that illness too often puts out of reach. To add to the celebration, Adam and Chanin Carlin, the philanthropic force behind the prom since its founding in 2014, announced a generous new commitment that will extend the Carlin Family Prom for the next five years.

Meet Victoria, the First Pulmonary Ozaki in Florida and Among the First in the Nation

At just eleven-years-old, Victoria, an energetic swimmer and big sister, underwent open-heart surgery to repair her pulmonary insufficiency. Dr. David Kalfa and the cardiovascular surgery team reconstructed her valve using her own pericardial tissue through the Ozaki Procedure.
