Glades Media Group hosted a two-day radiothon, El Radiotón, to raise funds for, and awareness of, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Broadcasted across three stations in the Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast communities, the radiothon raised $113,906 in support of Nicklaus Children’s – the exclusive Children’s Miracle Network Hospital (CMN) throughout South Florida.  

Community members tuned in to radio stations 99.7 La Ley, 95.1 and 106.1 La Ley, and 96.9 Fiesta throughout two days to hear about the work at Nicklaus Children’s. Funds raised help increase access to exceptional pediatric healthcare for children in South Florida and beyond. As the local CMN member hospital, Nicklaus Children’s serves Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee, and Indian River counties.  

Since the inception of El Radiotón, a program of CMN, in 2012 it has raised more than $1.2 million to support member hospitals. This was the first time in its history that the beneficiary hospital was Nicklaus Children’s. El Radiotón helped to continue building awareness across the communities Nicklaus Children’s serves.
