iHeart4Kids 3rd Annual Radiothon Raises $101,964 During Live Broadcast from Nicklaus Children’s Hospital

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital along with iHeartMedia in South Florida hosted the 3rd annual iHeart4Kids Radiothon on November raising a total of $101,964 live on the radio from the lobby of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital on Thursday, November 2nd.  

The 13-hour fundraising event aired on both 93.9 MIA and NewsRadio 610 WIOD, with matching hour opportunities and heart-warming stories from Nicklaus Children’s patients, families, staff and supporters to help benefit kids in our community and beyond. Kimmy B, K. Marie and Carmine from 93.9 MIA, and Manny Munoz and Erica Rodriguez from WIOD, broadcasted live from the hospital throughout the day alongside guests including Nicklaus Children’s pet therapy dogs, patient activities, an interactive screen, photobooth and more.

Special guests included Michael Fux, Yotuel, Maffio and MENUDO - the new generation. They talked to listeners live on the air and MENUDO gave an acapella-style performance for patients.

This year’s iHeart4Kids Radiothon is sponsored by PC Solutions, Panter, Panter & Sampedro, P.A., Dunkin’, Jersey Mike’s, Recrea, Shake Shack and Sunshine Gasoline Distributors. The annual radiothon is a program of Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is the exclusive CMN hospital in eight counties across South Florida and the Treasure Coast.  

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital relies on community support to continue providing amazing patient care to kids across our community and around the world.
