Telemundo breakthrough actress, Ximena Duque, was recognized as a Global Ambassador for the foundation during a recent visit to the hospital this February. She was able to meet some of the patients receiving treatment and listen to their experiences and how their families are benefiting from being treated at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

“I am so excited and honored to be able to join such a wonderful organization like Miami Children’s Health Foundation and help raise awareness so that all of our children can have access to the best medical care right here in South Florida,” Duque said.

Erick Cuesta, currently an entertainment reporter on CNN en Español and Despierta America, was recognized as a Community Ambassador for the foundation. Cuesta will have an active role in regional outreach, supporting the foundation’s fundraising efforts and elevating its presence as the charity of choice in our community.

“During my visit to Nicklaus Children’s, I was touched by so many incredible children,” said Cuesta. “I am honored to be a Community Ambassador for Miami Children’s Health Foundation and be an active voice to raise awareness of the foundation’s mission and the hospital’s world-class care for children of all ages.”
