Patients of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital were just given a new twist on their traditional hospital gowns. Starlight Children’s Foundation teamed up with Athletes for Hope to deliver 100,000 new gowns to numerous Starlight
Children's partner hospitals and healthcare facilities, including Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. These Starlight Brave gowns are no ordinary gowns. Each gown features a unique, fun design such as cowboys, princesses, astronauts, explorers, and many more with new ones coming later in the year. One of these gowns could have such a tremendous impact on our patients’ hospital stay.
Jamal Carter, former Miami Hurricanes safety who joined the Denver Broncos this year, visited Nicklaus Children’s Hospital representing Athletes for Hope in light of this generous donation. Carter sat with patients in the lobby of the Advanced Pediatric Care Pavilion, joining them in a fun art activity while answering questions they had for him.
