Nicklaus Children’s Acquires Palm Beach and Treasure Coast Region in Growing Partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

Published on: 02/17/2023

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is expanding its footprint in South Florida as a result of a growing partnership with Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals. As of 2023, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is now the official CMN member hospital for Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast, which includes Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee and Indian River counties.

The territory expansion will bring more fundraising opportunities for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital through CMN’s partners and programs in Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast. Now, all CMN donations collected by partner organizations in those five counties will stay local, benefiting the care of patients of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, and its outpatient network. Fundraising campaigns take place throughout the year and partners include Costco, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Publix, Ace Hardware, Panda Express, IHOP, RE/MAX and Marriott, plus many more. Programmatic partners include Dance Marathon, Play Yellow, Extra Life, and English and Spanish language radiothons in collaboration with local radio stations. Nicklaus Children’s Hospital has been a member hospital of CMN since 1989, serving Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties. With this growth to five more counties, Nicklaus Children’s becomes the member hospital for eight counties across South Florida.

“We are delighted to expand our reach more broadly throughout Florida and look forward to working with all of our amazing partners and programs in the five new counties to raise essential funds for Nicklaus Children’s,” said Matthew A. Love, president and CEO at Nicklaus Children’s Health System. “Nicklaus Children’s is proud to be a longstanding member hospital of such a nationally renowned organization like Children’s Miracle Network, and we are so excited about the potential to make an even greater impact in our region so every child has the best chance for a happy, healthy future.”

“We are thrilled to now partner with Nicklaus Children’s Hospital as they expand their reach into Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast,” said Alex Calderon, General Manager at 99.5 La Ley and 96.9 Fiesta. “Nicklaus Children’s is a leader in pediatric care and we are confident that, together, we will make a remarkable impact on children in the region.”
