In just 24 hours, generous donors from our community gave $52,865 to our Nicklaus Children’s Hospital patients during Give Miami Day, one of the largest annual giving events in the United States.
Hosted this year on Thursday, November 15, Give Miami Day, organized by The Miami Foundation, allows anyone to make a philanthropic impact by supporting area nonprofit organizations. For 2018, a record-breaking $11.5 million was raised for more than 750 nonprofits in Greater Miami. The Miami Foundation maximizes the community’s generosity by making a bonus gift for every donation between $25 and $10,000 received through the givemiamiday.org website.
The funds donated to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation from 42 individual donors will be used to drive discovery, advance the boundaries of medical knowledge, and enhance the way Nicklaus Children’s Hospital delivers care.
