Miami City Ballet Dancers Twirl Into the Hearts of Nicklaus Children's Patients

Published on: 05/24/2018
Dancers from the Miami City Ballet twirled through the lobby of the Advanced Pediatric Care Pavilion at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital this May. Dressed in magical costumes from productions such as Sleeping Beauty, Prince Charming and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the pre-professional ballet dancers demonstrated basic ballet positions and movements to the young patients. All of the patients received an educational guide booklet with kid-friendly activities related to the wonderful world of dance, a magic wand and a sword.

The young patients loved meeting the dancers and learning how to point their toes, position their arms and move gracefully, just like the accomplished ballerinas!
