Miami Children’s Health Foundation Celebrates 10th Anniversary Diamond Ball, Raising Nearly $1.6 Million

Published on: 11/01/2016

In an extravagant celebration befitting of a decade anniversary, Miami Children’s Health Foundation hosted its 10th Anniversary Diamond Ball on Oct. 29 at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. The event was a black-tie costumed affair to the theme of “Into the Woods,” brought to life by towering tree centerpieces, haunting entertainment acts, and the willing guests who dazzled and awed with their take on the theme through their attire. Nearly $1.6 million were raised throughout the evening by generous supporters, benefiting the patients and families of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

Notable guests at the 10th Anniversary Diamond Ball included Master of Ceremonies Louis Aguirre, co-host of “The Insider” on CBS, and musician José Feliciano, who was this year’s inductee to the Ambassador David M. Walters International Pediatric Hall of Fame. For more information about this year’s gala, click here to read the full press release.

Diamond Ball was our last major fundraiser of the year, but MCH Foundation is preparing for more upcoming events during the holiday season that will help our patients and families now and in the future, including Bake a Difference, our Holiday Toy Drive, and Give Miami Day.
