In honor of Founders Day on March 20th at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, Brickell Honda's Mario Murgado has donated a brand-new Honda Civic LX to one of our very own healthcare heroes, Marco Borque. Murgado, who is Nicklaus Children's Health System Board Chair, shares what this support means to him below.
"This past month, I have been so pleased to bring together two incredibly important parts of my life: Nicklaus Children’s Health System and our automotive business. In recognition of the incredible care offered by the health system’s employees, Murgado Automotive Group is giving away a car to one lucky employee. I have always been in awe of the work done at the health system, but the past year’s efforts by so many of our employees have been inspirational and, in fact, heroic. To honor one Healthcare Hero, our Brickell Honda store has set aside a three-year lease on a brand-new Honda Civic LX for one, deserving raffle winner.
I want to congratulate Marcos Borque who was chosen at random and is the winner of the lease. It includes all the costs associated with driving the car and 10,000 annual driving miles. All he has to do is add the car to their insurance.
Long before we ever heard of COVID-19, I was a huge fan of all the incredible work done at the health system. The past year has made me even more grateful for the hard work and dedication of our employees. Thank you to everyone who signed up for the raffle, but more importantly, thank you for your incredible work on behalf of the patients at NCHS.
