The patients at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital received an exciting visit from actress and singer Liz Elias, from the popular Nickelodeon show “Every Witch Way.” Elias received a tour of the facilities, including the Michael Fux Family Center and the Emergency Department. Her tour concluded in the Advanced Pediatric Care Pavilion (APCP), where she joined patients for a drum circle led by Music Therapy specialists. Playing along with instruments and singing some of the patients’ favorite songs, Elias brightened the patients’ spirits and brought some much needed distraction from their hospital stay. The singer had also previously attended the preview event for the grand opening of the APCP.
