Flash Fundraiser: Bedside Kits

Flash Fundraisers help us quickly fill a specific need at Nicklaus Children's Hospital that benefits our patients.

August Fundraising Priority: Help us keep patients engaged at the bedside during COVID-19 by donating toward the purchase of 150 recreational kits.

With the safety of our patients as our top priority during the pandemic, Nicklaus Children's Hospital paused many programs that serve our patients during their hospital stay and at their bedside. This includes visits from siblings, hospital volunteers and other entertainers, our pet therapy program, and the daily educational events for patients and families in our lobby.

Your donation today supports the purchase of 150 Kiwi Crate recreational kits for our patients to enjoy at the bedside.

Kits are designed for every age group and they each come with several fun, hands-on activities that spark learning, creativity and curiosity. A video tutorial will also be broadcast inside patient rooms as children work on the project.
