Proceeds Benefited COVID-19 Relief Fund
Event proceeds benefited the Nicklaus Children’s COVID-19 Relief Fund. Like many U.S. children’s hospitals that, at one point this year, were pacing to lose an average $1 million a day, Nicklaus Children’s has faced similar financial challenges. Your support helped shore up supplies and testing, while ensuring that staff and services we need are in place until the pandemic is behind us.
We are South Florida's only freestanding hospital exclusively for children, and with your help, we will continue to deliver on our promise to respond to their healthcare needs of children in our community and beyond... because kids' needs don't stop because of a pandemic.
A Longstanding Tradition
Although the Diamond Ball looked a little different in its 14th year, we are steadfast in our commitment to patients and families and our tradition of giving back. At past Diamond Ball events, including our record-breaking event in 2019, hundreds of community members joined us for an evening of dinner, dancing and fundraising, all to benefit the quality of life, programs and services that support the health and well-being of the children we serve at Nicklaus Children's.
